PURPOSE: A polycarbonate resin composition containing a polycarbonate resin is provided to be used as optical materials of a lens and a film and to obtain high refractivity, high thermal resistance, low birefringence, and high transparency.;CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate resin composition has a repeating unit which is marked by chemical formula 1. The polycarbonate resin composition contains a polycarbonate resin including a terminal hydroxyl group. The concentration of the terminal hydroxyl group is more than 1000 ppm. A method for manufacturing the polycarbonate resin composition includes a step of performing melt condensation polymerization of a dihydroxy compound, which is marked by chemical formula 2, and a carbonate diester compound under the presence of a basic catalyst and/or a transesterification catalyst.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
