PURPOSE: A relay device of a wireless communication network and a control method thereof are provided to determine whether a wireless access standard of a received signal is permitted, thereby determining whether to relay the signal.;CONSTITUTION: A control unit(127) checks a wireless access standard approved during installation and a wireless access standard of a signal received from a base station. If the wireless access standard of the received signal is matched with the approved wireless access standard, the control unit permits relay of the received signal.
