PURPOSE: An ultra high voltage cable is provided to improve a surge voltage destruction property by improving the interfacial property of a semiconducting layer and an insulator layer.;CONSTITUTION: An ultra high voltage cable comprises a central conductor(10), an inner semiconducting layer(12) covering the central conductor, and an insulator layer(14) surrounding the inner semiconducting layer. The ultra high voltage cable comprises an external semiconducting layer(16) covering the insulator layer, a shielding layer(18) covering the external semiconducting layer, and a protective covering outer sheath(20) covering the shielding layer. The insulator layer is made of a single material which is selected among low density polyethylene, metal oxide, and a conductive polymer or a resin composition including the mixture of the two.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
