FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING A SELF-EXTINGUISHING PROPERTY AND AN EXCELLENT FLAME RETARDANT PROPERTY AND A FLAME RETARDANT SHEET USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A flame retardant resin composition is provided to effectively shield electromagnetic waves by including a large amount of flame retardant, to be used for manufacturing a flame retardant sheet comprising a polyester resin and a polyurethane resin, and to obtain a self-extinguishing property.;CONSTITUTION: A flame retardant resin composition comprises: 20-70 weight% of a thermoplastic resin which is selected from a group comprising a polyester resin, a polyurethane resin, or a water-dispersible polyurethane resin; 10-60 weight% of a nitrogen and/or phosphate-based flame retardant; and 10-50 weight% of a solvent. A method for manufacturing a flame retardant sheet capable of shielding electromagnetic waves comprises the following steps: mixing 40-80 weight% of the flame retardant resin composition with 40-60 weight% of metal powder; manufacturing the sheet by drying the solvent after pouring the mixture into a mold; and attaching a double-sided tape to the sheet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
