PURPOSE: An uninterruptable power supply device and a control method thereof are provided to effectively compensate periodic disturbance which is generated from a nonlinear load by using a repeat controller and an active damping controller. CONSTITUTION: An inverter control part controls the operation of an inverter switch part(30). An inverter control part comprises a feedback controller(12), a repeat controller(13), and an active damping controller(14). The feedback controller outputs a first control value by using a difference between a reference voltage and the output power of an uninterruptable power supply device as an input. The repeat controller outputs a second control value by using a difference between a first control value and the output power of the uninterruptable power supply device as an input. The active damping controller outputs a third control value by using a current flowing into a filter capacitor.
