PURPOSE: A method for testing welding defects of a valve spindle for a cylinder head of a diesel engine is provided to confirm whether a ultrasonic sensor is normally operated or not and to perform a test only when the ultrasonic sensor is normally operated.;CONSTITUTION: A method for testing welding defects of a valve spindle for a cylinder head of a diesel engine is as follows. A probe(21) of a ultrasonic sensor is in contact with a welding part(13) formed in a valve spindle. A test is performed by moving the probe along the edge of the valve spindle. When defects are detected using the probe, it is confirmed whether the ultrasonic sensor is normally operated or not. When the ultrasonic sensor is normally operated, the test is performed by contacting the probe with the valve spindle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
