PURPOSE: A dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell, and the dye-sensitized solar cell manufactured therefrom are provided to secure the light absorbing property of the dye at the wide visible light area.;CONSTITUTION: A dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell contains a compound marked with chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, X is either an aromatic hydrocarbon ring group or a heterocyclic group. L1, L2, and L3 are a methine group methine group with 1~4 carbons.
