PURPOSE: A jacquard fabric using an optical fiber and a regular fiber crossed with each other, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain an irradiating character or figure on the surface of a fabric.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a jacquard fabric using an optical fiber and a regular fiber crossed with each other comprises the following steps: using a jacquard loom electrically controlled by a computer to start weaving; tightly weaving a weft and a warp formed with a synthetic fiber yarn; inserting the optical fiber(3) along with the weft through an opening of the warp; and offering a twist at an initial point to reveal a character or a figure, after hiding the optical fiber behind a fabric.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
