PURPOSE: A novel violet populus delotoides variety plant 'Myoung Lim' is provided to use as an ornament or street tree. CONSTITUTION: A novel violet populus delotoides variety plant 'Myoung Lim' has entirely purple of violet leaves and stems. A method for producing 'Myoung Lim' comprises: a step of selecting natural mutant individual of populus delotoides with purple leaves and stems and cutting; a step of immersing the cut plant to solution for growth promotion; a step of planting the plant and raising for 2-3 years; a step of performing unisexual propagation to ensure uniformity; and a step of confirming permanence by virus validation.
