PURPOSE: A natural convection type air conditioner is provided to cool the inner space using the convection of the air through the generation of the cold air between the space under the roof of a structure and the ceiling.;CONSTITUTION: A natural convection type air conditioner comprises an upper lid(1), a pipe, an inlet, an outlet, and a chiller. The pipe is installed in the upper lid and the inlet and the outlet are respectively attached to the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe of the chiller through pipe holes(3). The upper lid is attached to the ceiling finishing material under the roof. The cold air generated by the chiller is forcibly circulated by an intake fan and a discharge fan and cools the pipe. The cold air in the upper lid cooled by the cooled pipe transmits the ceiling finishing material not blocked by an insulator and is supplied to the inner space.
