PURPOSE: A solid solution carbide and carbonitride power, and a high temperature manufacturing method thereof are provided to control the quality of oxygen and carbon included in a cermet compound sinter and improve tenacity of the cermet compound sinter.;CONSTITUTION: At least two metal elements including titanium among a group comprised of Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, and W, the oxide of the metal, and carbon powder are mixed or grinded. The mixed or grinded powder is reduced, carbonized, or nitrified for three hours under the vacuum or hydrogen atmosphere of 1300 to 2200 degrees centigrade.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
