PURPOSE: A method for evaluating the root resistance of a waterproofing layer for greening a roof is provided to reduce times for evaluating the root resistance of a waterproof layer.;CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating the root resistance of a waterproofing layer for greening a roof comprises following steps of: inputting the evaluation condition of the root resistance of object plants for greening the roof of a building; and evaluating the root resistance of the waterproofing layer according to the evaluation conditions of the root resistance. A method for evaluating the root resistance comprises following steps of: providing a waterproof layer to be evaluated to a measuring system; mounting an imitation needle(140), corresponding to the size of the root end of an object plant, on the measuring system; inputting the growth rate of the root; dropping the imitation needle; and evaluating the root resistance of the object plant.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
