PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having a sound absorbing member for decreasing the noise is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and the possibility of hindering the uniformity of a tire due to the light weight.;CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire(100) having a sound absorbing member for decreasing the noise comprises an inner liner(101). To the inner liner, a sound absorbing member(1) for decreasing the noise is attached. The sound absorbing member is formed as a stepped asymmetric sound absorbing member, which is formed from a porous material. The centroid of the sound absorbing member is located on the inner point of the inner liner. The position of the centroid passes through the symmetric position of the mass concentration point of the radial direction of the tire. The position of the centroid is selected so that the force concentration is minimized. The sound absorbing member blocks the inner cavity of the tire to decentralize the source energy of the resonance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
