PURPOSE: A buried-in wall type joint-box for an indoor unit of an air-conditioner is provided to enable an indoor unit to be connected to a joint box without the deformation or the re-processing of a pipe according to the size and the type of the indoor unit.;CONSTITUTION: A buried-in wall type joint-box for an indoor unit of an air-conditioner comprises a joint box(10), a support panel(30), an upper cover(40) and a lower cover(50). The joint box is buried in the indoor wall, is connected to the indoor unit of an air conditioner and has a rectangular shape. The support panel divides the inner space of the joint box into upper and lower parts. The upper and lower covers close the front opening part of the joint box. A pipe(20) is inserted into the bottom of the joint box, is vertically arranged in the joint box, a lower coupling part(60) connected to the pipe of a frame type indoor unit is formed on the lower part of the pipe, an upper coupling part(70) coupled to a wall mounting type indoor unit is formed on the upper end of the pipe and airtight stoppers(61,71) are fixed to the upper and lower coupling parts to prevent the leakage of the refrigerant.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
