PURPOSE: A method for in-situ remediation of contaminated sediment using capping with a biodegradable film is provided to be economically used by excluding a capping removal work. CONSTITUTION: A method for in-situ remediation of contaminated sediment using capping with a biodegradable film comprises the steps of: using a biodegradable film as a capping material and applying the capping material onto a underwater deposited contaminant; preparing organic biomass between the capping material and the underwater deposited contaminant to be used as the carbon source of natural microorganism; and removing pollutants from the underwater deposited contaminant.
