PURPOSE: An apparatus sensing shade and breaking down of a solar photovoltaic power generation cell line/module/group and monitoring solar photovoltaic power generation amount and method thereof are provided to allow a manager to monitor the operation state of a photovoltaic power generation system through USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network). CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus sensing shade and breaking down of solar photovoltaic power generation cell line/module/group and monitoring solar photovoltaic power generation amount and method thereof, an USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) module is installed a cell line directly connected to a plurality of solar cells and is installed on a solar cell module comprised of a by-pass diode and a blocking diode. The USN module includes a measuring and correcting unit, an ADC unit, and a data processor.
