PURPOSE: An end-to-end mapping from an operating system running on a virtual machine to storage volume of an SAN(Storage-Array Network) is provided to determine end-to-end mapping to a storage volume of an SAN(Storage Array Network) or a storage array which physically implements the storage device of a VM from an OS which is driven in the VM(Virtual Machine).;CONSTITUTION: A VM(virtual Machine)(112) reported by an OS(Operating System)(116) thereof is mapped to the definition contents of the VM provided by a management component(114) which manages the VM. A storage device(108) reported by the OS driving in the VM uses a storage interface target(ID) of a virtual storage device(120) and a storage interface controller number so that the storage device is mapped to the definition content of the virtual storage device provided by the management component which manages the VM.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
