PURPOSE: A method and a system for breaking spam calling are provided to block a spam calling to an out bounded roaming terminal.;CONSTITUTION: A GMSC(Gateway Mobile Switching Center)(110) acquires and analyzes service registration information about the called terminal from the HLR (Home Location Register)(140) corresponding to a communication call. In case the called terminal is registered among roaming in the spam blocking service, the GMSC creates and transmits a service start request message. An SCP(Service Control Point)(120) controls the IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(130) according to the service start request message. The SCP receives the response information. The SCP uses the response information and fixed acknowledge confirm information and the communication call to decide whether the communication call is spam call or not.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
