PURPOSE: A parking management system using an RFID and a method thereof is provided to allow a user to trace and inquiry a parking position by recognizing the movement of an RFID tag.;CONSTITUTION: An entrance apparatus(110) includes a crossing gate(111) and an issuing unit(115). The crossing gate blocks the entrance of vehicles. The issuing unit issues an RFID tag. An exit apparatus(120) includes the crossing gate(121) and a returning unit(123). The crossing gate blocks the exit of vehicles. The issuing unit receives the RFID tag. An RFID reader(140) recognizes the parking position of vehicles. A driver possess the issued RFID tag. A management computer matches parking information to the unique identification of the RFID tag and stores it.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
