PURPOSE: A small ocean current power generator with large capacity for a high-speed ocean current is provided to generate electric power using an ocean current which is faster than a tidal current. CONSTITUTION: A small ocean current power generator with large capacity for a high-speed ocean current is composed as follows. The diameter of blades of a water turbine of the ocean current power generator is 5 to 12m. Facilities(62) with a multiplying gear box(60), a generator(61), a hydraulic system, a cooling system, a power converter are installed in the outer side of nacelles(58).
