PURPOSE: A SOFC unit cell having a copper-ceria fuel anode, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of the fuel cell using copper or a copper oxide as a fuel anode, and to simplify the plasticizing process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a SOFC unit cell having a copper-ceria fuel anode comprises the following steps: forming a fuel anode molding body containing copper or a copper oxide, and ceria as configuration elements; forming a solid electrolyte molding body containing the ceria as a configuration element; laminating the produced molding bodies; plasticizing the molding bodies to form a primary fuel anode-electrolyte plasticized body; combining an air electrode to the primary fuel anode-electrolyte plasticized body; and plasticizing the primary fuel anode-electrolyte plasticized body combined with the air electrode.
