PURPOSE: A device and a method for managing resource in a relay-based mobile communication network are provided to control the size of the dedicated resource about a relay-base station link, thereby reducing the signaling overhead and delay in every frame.;CONSTITUTION: A repeater receives an initial resource allocation and window time from a base station(S121). If it is a window time cycle, the repeater feeds back average virtual required band information which is estimated by every frame time within current window time(S122,S123). If the repeater receives band allocation information from the base station through R-MAP, the repeater allocates real-time traffic preferentially. The repeater allocates the rest of the resources to non real-time traffic(S126).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
