PURPOSE: A scene switching detection method and a scene switching detection reliability calculation method and software for managing a camera system having storage, search, approval and a communication function are provided to accurately implement scene conversion detection of the acquired video data from the monitoring camera system.;CONSTITUTION: A scene change method detection uses a differential histogram as the feature value of a frame(100). The critical value is established by using the average value of the differential histogram for the movement reference unit. The scene change is detected by comparing the feature value of frame with critical value.
