An iris device, a photographing device and an automatic focus recovering device based on a change of a color channel and a method thereof are provided to estimate distance information of a subject in which a plurality of subjects is located in different distances from a lens. A plate(410) forms a plurality of openings. The first opening(420) is formed on a central line of the plate. The second opening(430) is formed in order to be symmetrical to the central line. Color filters(450,460,470) are installed at each opening.
