PURPOSE: A solar energy absorption air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to recover the extra heat of absorptive liquid by performing heat exchange between the low temperature absorptive liquid of an absorber and the high temperature steam reproduced by a regenerator, resulting in improving the air conditioning efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A solar energy absorption air conditioner comprises an evaporator, an absorber(360) which makes the refrigerant vapor provided from the evaporator absorb into absorptive liquid, a high temperature regenerator(320), a low temperature regenerator(330) which heats the absorptive liquid using the refrigerant vapor provided from the high temperature regenerator so as to separate refrigerant, a condenser(340), a high temperature heat exchanger(380) which performs heat exchange between the absorptive liquid transferred to the high temperature regenerator and the absorptive liquid in the high temperature regenerator, and a low temperature heat exchanger(370) which performs heat exchange between the absorptive liquid transferred to the low temperature regenerator and the absorptive liquid in the low temperature regenerator.
