TELEMETERING INFORMATION IDENTIFING SYSTEM USING WIRE AND WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

PURPOSE: A remote meter reading system using a wire/wireless network is provided to allow a consumer to confirm power consumption indoor by transmitting power consumption information between a modem on a power meter and a display unit. CONSTITUTION: A data collection unit(110) detects current and the voltage flowed into a consumer and converts the detected current and voltage into a digital signal. A power supply unit(120) supplies an operating voltage to a MICOM in a power meter by converting a commercial AC power to DC or using a DC battery. A MICOM controller(130) generates and manage information of power metering and controls transmission of information of power metering. A first communications module(140) transmits power metering information to a meter modem in response to the control signal of the MICOM controller. A modem controller(230) controls the transmission of power metering information between the meter MICOM and a display unit.
