APPARATUS FOR WATERMARKING 3D MESH MODEL USING SPHERICAL SURFACE PARAMETER TECHNIQUE AND METHOD THEREOF

A watermarking apparatus of a three dimensional mesh model and a method using the spherical surface parameter technique of 3D mesh model are provided to insert the watermark to the 3D mesh model by using the characteristic of vertex coordinates. Coordinates of a three-dimensional mesh model is set up a orthogonal coordinates system(310). The coordinates of the set up 3D mesh model is transformed to a surface coordinates system(320). The spherical surface parameter technique is applied to the mesh model transformed to the spherical coordinate. The watermark is inserted into 3D mesh model in which the spherical surface parameter technique is applied(330, 340). The coordinates of 3D mesh model is transformed to the spherical coordinate. The standards vertex is set up as the center of the spherical coordinate.
