Apparatus for Processing RS-422 Communication using RS-485 Communication Interface

An RS-422 communication processing apparatus using an RS-485 interface is provided to be efficiently used for the serial communication interface with unspecified communication devices. Two RS-485 driver ICs(21,22) transmit and receive data according to the RS-485 communication method. According to an operation mode, a communication controller(23) controls each RS-485 driver IC to transmit/receive data according to the RS-422 communication method or RS-485 communication method.
