PURPOSE: A broadcast view information providing method of an IPTV service and a system thereof are provided to allow a user to recognize a paid program capable of freely using the program. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast view information providing method of an IPTV service is as follows. The power is applied on a display device and a set top box. The initial display is displayed on a TV(S20). The stored content is reproduced in TV. The information of the contents information in which it watches content in which the free utilization is possible is stored in the memory. It is distinguished from the color of the dissimilar contents the stored information is indicated in the contents list with an icon.
