PURPOSE: An outlet for preventing an electric shock using a switch is provided to prevent the electric shock when a user uses an existing plug and inserts metal material to an electrode pin insertion hole of the outlet. CONSTITUTION: A plug coupling grooves(410) includes an electrode pin insertion hole(411) in which an electrode pin of a plug is inserted. A switch(420) is located between a wire and the electrode pin insertion hole and connects the electrode pin insertion hole with the wire. A wire connecting unit(450) connects the switches with the wire. A pushing unit(430) is moved by the plug and pushes the switch when the plug is inserted to the plug connecting home. When the plug is separated from the plug connecting home, the pushing unit is separated from the switch. An elasticity unit elastically supports the pushing unit.
