A method for analyzing the contaminant of pvc+abs blend using the thermal decomposition behavior is provided to prevent the property of material from degrading by calculating the each compositional content using the thermal decomposition characteristic of material. A method for analyzing the contaminant of pvc+abs blend comprises followings. A furnace of a TGA equipment is heated to 30~400°C at 20°C/min under the nitrogen atmosphere. The furnace can stays at 400°C for 20 minutes. The furnace is heated to 580~620°C at 5~20°C/min and mood of furnace is changed with the oxygen. The temperature of the furnace is increase to 850~870°C under the oxygen atmosphere at 5~20°C/min. The ABS and PVC content ratio and the actual amount of HCI and PVC are calculated by computing the weight percent of a test piece at the temperature which PVC of the test piece is disassembled to HCI.
