PURPOSE: A flap-lag angle measuring system and method for a helicopter rotor blade are provided to measure accurate rotation angle of a helicopter rotor blade by preventing influence by pitch angle of the blade on measurement. CONSTITUTION: A flap-lag angle measuring system for a helicopter rotor blade comprises a hub, four blades extended from the hub in the radial direction, an elastic bearing(102) mutually connecting the hub and the blade, a linear displacement sensor for length measurement which measures displacement of the elastic bearing according to changes in flap, lag, and pitch of each blade, and a rotation angle calculation module which calculates the rotation angle from a measurement signal of the linear displacement sensor.
