dispersion measuring apparatus of the present invention is simple, precise and rapid measurement of the chromatic dispersion of the optical fiber or optical waveguide and to directly obtain the phase of all wavelength regions from the detected wave interference pattern by using the interferometer for the second derivative of the frequency components to obtain a dispersion of the optical fiber (Chromatic dispersion). A short length of single mode fiber as well be several meters long or more optical fibers of the dispersion measurement is possible and the measurement, a quick measurement of the 1s within the measuring time is possible.
