A breaker for an excavator and a damping device are provided to remarkably reduce vibration and noise and to improve durability of a breaker by stably fixing a body. A breaker(200) for an excavator is composed of a body(210) in which a piston is installed, a bracket(220) installed outside the body to support the body, a mounting cap(230) combined on the top of a bracket, a damper(240) which is combined to the lower part of the mounting cap and which has a circular hole at the center, and a body cap(250) combined to the lower part of the damper.
