METHOD FOR REVERSING THE POLARIZATION DOMAIN OF A FERROELECTRIC MATERIAL BY IRRADIATING AN ELECTRONIC BEAM ONTO A NEGATIVE POLARIZATION SURFACE AND A FERROELECTRIC MATERIAL WITH A POLARIZATION-PATTERNED DOMAIN
PURPOSE: A method for reversing the polarization domain of a ferroelectric material and a ferroelectric material with a polarization-patterned domain are provided to pattern the polarization domain of the ferroelectric material midair without applying a high external magnetic field to the ferroelectric material.;CONSTITUTION: An electrode is formed on a positive polarization surface of a single polarization ferroelectric substrate(510). An electronic beam resistor is coated on a negative polarization surface of the ferroelectric substrate(520). A domain with reversed polarization is patterned on the electronic beam resistor using a mask(530). An electronic beam is irradiated to the negative polarization surface for reversing the polarization domain of the ferroelectric material(540).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
