The Method for Preparation of Polyester False Twisted Yarn with Flat Cross Sectional POY

A polyester false twisted yarn with the flat cross-section and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture the high sensitivity and multi-functional fabric with the natural luster. The semi-high shrinkage polyester SDY(Spin Draw Yarn) is used as a core yarn. The flat cross-section polyester POY(Partial Oriented Yarn) of 0.5 to 2.0 denier is used as a sheath yarn. The sheath and core yarns are drafted and false twisted at the false-twist temperature of 150 to 210 degrees centigrade with the draft ratio of 1.0 to 1.3 and thereafter the second setting is performed. The two kinds of original yarns are interlaced firstly and then drafted and false twisted. The boiling water shrinkage rate of the semi-high shrinkage polyester is 8 to 12%. The false-twisted yarn set is heat-fixed at the second heater(4), treated by an oiling roller and wound by a winder(5).
