PURPOSE: A reconfigurable computing unit for fixed point computing and floating point computing based on the format of the input data is provided to perform the fixed point computing and the floating point computing according to the format of the input data by combining a plurality of operation units. CONSTITUTION: The operation units(111-114) perform the input data computing. A data format determiner(120) determines whether the input data is the format of the floating point or the fixed point. A controller(130) performs the fixed point computing and the floating point computing by combining the operation units according to the determination result. The operation unit includes multiple fixed point operation parts and one or more one shifters.
