A lodging method and an apparatus for a steel pile installed on the ground in repair and reinforcement of the existing bridge are provided to install the steel pile without damaging on the existing bridge because repair and reinforcement of the existing bridge whereof the lower space is limited is carried without making noise and vibration. A lodging method for a steel pile installed on the ground in repair and reinforcement of the existing bridge comprises: a step for installing a bracket in order to support the structure installed in the circumference of a pier(500), a step for installing a guide frame in order to be anchored in the bracket and installing a plurality of guide pipes guiding the steel pile along the circumference of the guide frame, a step of inserting the steel pile(300) into the guide pipe and striking it into the ground at the depth which is affected from the weight or water flow, a step for installing a reaction structure(200) in the circumference of the pier after separating the guide frame and guide pipe from the pier, and a step for fastening a hydraulic jack(320) on the head of the steel pile and lodging the steel pile into the underground.
