KOREAN TRADITIONAL HOUSE INCLUDING REINFORCED CONCRETE AND WOODEN STRUCTURES AND A CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A Korean traditional house including reinforced concrete and wooden structures and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce the quantity of timber required and the labor cost for special carpenters.;CONSTITUTION: A construction method for a Korean traditional house including reinforced concrete and wooden structures includes a site arrangement step, a foundation construction step, a reinforced concrete structure construction step, a wooden structure construction step, a roof construction step, and a plastering step. The site arrangement step includes location survey, leading frame installation, site planning, and prospect confirmation. In the foundation construction step, the ground in which a Korean traditional house is to be installed is compacted. In the reinforced concrete structure construction step, pillars and beams are constructed through site marking using ink, form work, reinforcement work and concrete placing. In the wooden structure construction step, timbers which are connected to the pillars and the beams to form a Korean traditional house are cut and assembled. The roof construction step includes topping installation and tiling. The plastering step includes sand coating of interior walls and lime plastering.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
