PURPOSE: An adaptive post-processing method for removing blocking artifacts of H.264 video coding standards is provided to apply a method which combines a CLS(Constraint Least Squares) method with a projecting method as a process for removing blocking artifacts, thereby guaranteeing high PSNR(Peek Signal to Noise Rate) performance. CONSTITUTION: A pixel block corresponding to the macro block of an obtained damaged image is classified. A normalization parameter is calculated. A weighted value criteria CLS normalization restoration method is applied. A projecting image restoration method obtaining a projection solution is applied to a normalization iterative solution.
