PURPOSE: A composition containing Litchi semen extract for preventing or treating fatty liver or obesity is provided to reduce lipid content in a liver tissue. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating non-alcoholic fatty liver contains Litchi semen extract as an active ingredient. The fat is neutral lipid, cholesterol, or free fatty acid. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating non-alcoholic fatty liver contains therapeutically effective amount of the composition and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
