PURPOSE: A battery module management system for rapid charge is provided to extend the lifespan of a battery pack by uniformly maintaining the voltage of battery cells inside a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell voltage detector(150) is connected to both ends of the battery cell in order to detect the voltage of the battery cell. An operation unit(140) changes the voltage of the battery cell to a digital value. A controller(120) generates a charge signal or discharge signal to perform the balancing between the battery cells. The battery cell charging unit charges the battery cell according to the charging signal of the controller. A discharging unit is connected to both ends of the battery cell to discharge the battery cell. A discharge controller controls the discharge of the battery cell according to the discharge signal of the controller.
