PURPOSE: The receiving ability improvement apparatus and method of the OFDM communications system prevent the degradation of the signal restoration rate due to the mixed harmonic noises. In the OFDM reception end, the restoration efficiency of the OFDM signal received through the radio channel is considered. CONSTITUTION: The receiver(100) receives a message the OFDM signal through the radio channel. The mixer(200) changes the OFDM signal into the intermediate frequency OFDM signal. The local oscillator(500) outputs the local oscillation frequency signal required for the intermediate frequency switching. The controller(300) decides the mixing of the OFDM signal, beforehand, the noises more than the fixed the level.
