PURPOSE: An oxidative dehydrogenation catalyst and a manufacturing method of propylene from propane using the same are provided to increase propane conversion rate, propylene selectivity and propylene yield when the propane is reacted at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: An oxidative dehydrogenation catalyst is formed by dipping platinum, an assistance metal, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal and halogen elements in a carrier. A weight ratio of the assistance metal on the platinum is 0.1-2.0. A ratio of the alkali metal or the alkyl earth metal element on a carrier surface area is 0.001-0.009 weight%/m^2. A weight ratio of the halogen component is 0.5-2.0.
