A DNA-carbon nanotube hybrid fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be used for a super capacitor, a battery electrode, a valve, a sensor, a multifunctional actuator, a robot operator and artificial muscle. A method for manufacturing a DNA-carbon nanotube hybrid fiber comprises: a first step of dissolving DNA in deionized water and adding carbon nanotubes in it and performing sonication; a second step of adding a coupling agent to the sonicated solution and mixing them together; and a third step of putting the mixed solution into a coagulation bath containing nitric acid and ethanol and rotating them so that the mixed solution becomes coagulated. The sonication is performed for 1 minute to 1 hour.
