DIGITAL OPTIC REPEATER CAPABLE OF MONITORING DIGITAL SECTION AND METHOD FOR MONITORING DIGITAL SECTION IN THE SAME SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A digital optic repeater capable of monitoring a digital section and a method for monitoring a digital section in the same system are provided to simply measure the quality of a digital interval. CONSTITUTION: An ROU(Remote Optic Unit)(200) is connected to an MHU(Main Hub Unit)(100) through an optical cable, and relays radio communication by using a digital optical signal between a base station and the subscriber's mobile terminal. The ROU measures the quality of digital interval that transmits and receives the digital optical signal between the MHU and the MHU by using a pilot channel signal outputted from the MHU. The ROU judges whether or not the digital interval is in an abnormal state.
