FORECASTING METHOD OF atrial fibrillation in patients with heart failure

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. Echocardiographic examination, measurement of index of left auricle maximal volume are performed. Additionally ECG is registered and index of minimal and medium volume of left auricle, fraction of active and passive left auricle expulsion, index of left auricle extension are measured and prediction index is calculated by formula: DF=0.0245×LAmin+0.123×LApef+0.065×LAaef-0.00195×LAexind, where: DF is diagnostic factor, on whose basis prediction with respect to auricle fibrillation is made, u; LA min is index of minimal LA volume, u; LA pef is fraction of passive LA emptying, u; LA aef is fraction of active LA emptying, u; LA extind is index of LA extention, u. If value of diagnostic factor, calculated by formula is not higher than 6.10, development of auricle fibrillation during following 12 months is predicted, if DF value is higher than 6.10 conclusion about absence of essential risk of emergence of this type of complication is made.;EFFECT: method allows to increase sensitivity of diagnostics of risk of auricle fibrillation development.;2 ex
