A floatation method of desulphurisaiton and desiliconization for bauxite features that reverse floatation for desulphurisaiton and normal floatation for desiliconization are performed sequentially, in which medium-low class bauxite that contains sulphur is subjected to reverse floatation for desulphurisaiton after first grade grinding, and desulphurisaiton concentrate is subjected to normal floatation for desiliconization after regrinding. The bauxite is subjected to reverse floatation for desulphurisaiton as ethyl xanthate being used as collector after first grade grinding so that bauxite middlings which containing silicon is produced. Thenafter second grade grinding the bauxite middlings is subjected to normal floatation for desiliconization during which saponification fatty acid and naphthenic acid is used as collector after being mixed in proportion. In said process the less reagent is used, and the bauxite concentrate analyzing alumina-silica ratio up to 7-12 and 0.1-0.5% sulphur meet the requirements of producing alumina from bauxite in the Bayer process.
