FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: pairs of channels and longitudinal ribs are prepared. Holes coaxial to the existing holes in the beam are drilled in them as per the template. Longitudinal ribs are made of angles and holes are drilled in flanges of channels and angles as per one and the same template. One of the prepared angles with holes is laid on the rest parts of vertical ribs with flanges facing the outer side, thus overlapping split joints of beams. Channels and angles are rigidly attached by alloyed studs to the reinforced beam. Then, cycles are continued on the other side of the beam wall till closed box circuit is formed to receive torsion actions from brake forces of crane trolleys.;EFFECT: invention allows increasing the operating life of crane beam, reducing material consumption and automating the rehabilitation process of its operability without removal.;1 ex, 2 tbl, 1 dwg
