FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: method includes reiterative alternation of operation of bearing rolls in mill with regrind at regulated value of skinning. Excluding of appearance of crumble out and destruction of rolls is provided ensured by that operation of rolls in mill is implemented up to achievement by them of (8.6-22.1)·10⁵ of loading cycles at linear load 0.3-1.4 t/mm. At operation of bearing rollers in pinch-pass mill, operation in mill is implemented up to achievement by it of (14.2-18.8)·10⁵ of loading cycles. Furthermore, value of skinning for regrinding is installed in the range 0.4-1.5 mm.;EFFECT: invention provides for reduction of discharge coefficient of rollers, increasing of productivity of rolling mill and quality of cold-rolled strips.;3 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex
